Sonic, Knuckles and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with abilities unlike anything they’ve faced before. Surpassing their abilities, Team Sonic must seek an unlikely alliance. The creators of the previous films mentioned that they played Sonikku Adobebenchâ 2 (2001) and the solo game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) for inspiration. The film is also inspired by narrative elements from the Saturday morning animated series Sonic the Hedgehog (1993). Commander Walters: [about Shadow] Shadow’s story started just like yours, Sonic.
